We are very pleased to introduce you our first WordPress theme: Journic. A colorful artistic design, perfect for a personal creative blog.

Currently Journic comes in a single color scheme, but we are working at new ones that will be released shortly.
Theme Features:
Journic come with some basic features, plus some features that usualy free themes don’t have:
- Settings Page (preview): from where you are able to manage and edit all current and upcoming features.
- Subscribe Secrion: editable from settings page, you can enable / disable id, add your feedburner ID if you want a mail subscribtion form;
- Advertising Management: In settings page you can enable / disable advertising from the sidebar. If enabled, you can add advertising codes for all 6 125×125px spots;
- Everything widget-ready! You can move the subscribtion form, the advertising and normal widgets whereever you want becasue Journic is full widget-ready!

Journic like all our themes that will be released here are in a continuously update. We add new updates, fix bugs and make our products better and better. Here is the history log for Journic:

The watercolor header is a great design choice. It’s coded well too, making customization very easy. Can’t wait to see what else you release.

I knew i knew your name from somewhere, your the same guy from dailywp rite? You had that going, released a few themes then just left it for dead. I hope you dont plan on doing the same with this one bro. :(
@Anto: I’ve added threaded comments and other considerable features, see historylog.
And yes, I owned dailywp.com and all themes released there are created by me, but because of some major personal problems I was not able to manage it any more. Currently everything is fine in my personal life and I’m very optimistic about WordpressCenter.com
I haven’t thought in using it, but i think it’s awesome that you’ve release it in GPL.
One more thing. You should have the download as a zip and not a rar extension.

Can you please share the psd file in compressed zip format? It would be better than sharing a 2-3 MB file rather than a 14MB PSD Format.

This is a beautiful theme. But the big background is not too friendly for limited bandwidth though :)

@Daus: Journic is very easy to customize, the .psd is also delivered so if a limited bandwich users would want to use it there are posibilities.

Your theme was just what I was looking for. It suits my mainly photoblog nicely! However, for some reason the rss feed does not appear in the sidebar even though I have activated it in settings area. Any ideas?

@dale: The theme is widget ready, if you want to add subscribtion in your side bar add “Subscribe Section” at your widgets page in your Dashboard.

I’m using this theme one a new site I’m building, and I think I’ve found a bug: If a post has no comments, it breaks the sidebar (the RSS yellow box appears below the ‘leave a reply’ area).
I can provide screenshots and troubleshooting if you need – you should have my email. I’m on Linux/Firefox 3 and Epiphany. I spotted the same issue on XP/Firefox. If you can see the error, it should be visible on this page: http://wordpresscenter.com/demo/journic/?p=5
Also, I tried adding the Calendar widget, and it removed the sidebar entirely – except for the new calendar. I don’t really understand widgets, so I’ve no clue what’s going on.

I like this theme simple but beautiful, thanks.
There seems to be a problem somewhere, bacause my widges doesn’t work. Not all of them anyway. The blogroll isn’t there for example. Is it something in the script?

Спасибки. А для графического наполнения Вы материал где берете? Меня всегда интересовало, как получается научиться выкапывать на каталогах фоток настолько классный материал… По поиску океан всягоко отображается, а чтобы увидеть реально что-то классное – так это аж нуна пол дня, а то и день потратить…. Или это Вы из перональной коллекции взяли?
